We created a design system to make it easy for us to design in a much faster pace. With few designers, we can't waste time on redoing same components over and over. Whatever we make, it has to be made from components of the Design system, if not someone has to make it, and publish it. This also makes it easier to communicate with developers. We prefer using Figma as its a very collaborative tool.
